Jaspal is a Senior Corporate Advisor with extensive C-Suite and Board-level experience, both in the Public and Private Sectors in Singapore and the UK.

He started his career in the Singapore Public Service in 1978. Over the following 27 years, he served in the Ministries of Transport, Finance and Trade & Industry and on the Boards of various statutory bodies and Government-linked corporates. Key appointments held include the Government’s Director of Budget and Deputy Secretary of the Ministries of Finance and Transport.

In 2004, Jaspal left the Singapore Public Service to start a career in the Private Sector, which saw him relocate to London as CEO, ComfortDelGro (UK & Ireland) and where he helmed the management and growth of ComfortDelGro’s bus, coach, taxi and private hire businesses in England, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland from 2004 to 2018.

For his corporate accomplishments abroad, he was voted “Outstanding Overseas Executive of the Year, 2017” at the Annual Singapore Business Awards in April 2018.
